Reporting to the Chief of People and Culture this role partners with management to implement operational and strategic support across all levels of the organisation. This role would suit a HR Advisor with understanding of or exposure to EA negotiations, IR plus ability to interpret enterprise agreements.

 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide HR advice and generalist support to designated regions
  • Developing and implementing workplace policies, procedures and contracts
  • Negotiating and advising on Industrial Relations matters (within a unionised environment)
  • Assisting managers with ongoing performance management of staff
  • Identifying training needs and assist with developing training programs
  • Managing the recruitment process for new hires into the business 
  • Ensuring employee compliance requirements are up to date across all sectors
  • Providing strategic HR advice to middle and senior management 
  • Various other general HR administrative duties

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR Management or similar
  • Previous exposure to negotiating EA's 
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Advanced skills Excel/Word
