Recruitment Edge – Proud Winner in the 2019 Bayside Business Awards
Bayside Council in partnership with the Bayside Business Enterprise Centre (BBEC) launched the Bayside Business Awards in 2018 to recognise local businesses that have excelled in their field and made a positive contribution towards making Bayside a dynamic and economically vibrant place to live, work and shop.
All businesses, large and small, across the Bayside Local Government Area were encouraged to enter and Council engaged ACA Research to accept all nominations and conduct the independent judging.
The winners of the 2019 Bayside Business Awards were announced at a gala dinner at Pullman Sydney Airport on Tuesday 15 October and Recruitment Edge was delighted to be named the winner of the Excellence in Professional Services Award for the second year in a row!
The win is a significant source of pride to the Team. According to Tania Kapell, “As previous Award winners, we understood the value of the prestige and endorsement it delivers when we entered this year’s competition. To be recognised and supported by the broader community again, is a testament to the team and the service we deliver!”
Independent judges considered a range of criteria when assessing the nominated businesses, including factors such as what sets the business apart from others in the field, commitment to service excellence, how staff members are trained and rewarded for the provision of outstanding service, innovation, sustainability and community involvement. One of the key components of Recruitment Edge’s submission was the ongoing support they provide to the local community, including their fundraising efforts for various causes, their provision of recruitment services to Not-for-Profit organisations, and their extensive support of the Bayside Women’s Shelter.
When announcing the Recruitment Edge win, the judges noted “This business is going from strength to strength and continues to tick all the boxes. The team provide exceptional service for their clients, be it a business looking for that special employee or someone looking for that special job.”
Bayside Mayor, Joe Awada congratulated the winners as well as the finalists. "In reality we are all winners tonight and Bayside is better because of your success and commitment," Cr Awada said.
