HR Waste Side Arm Operator

• 3:30am to 11:30am Mon - Fri + Weekend work

• Local Government role

• Immediate commencement

This very busy Cleansing Team works hard to keep our city's roads, paths and lane ways clean. We require a self-motivated person who takes pride in their work to join this very busy team.

Your duties will include:

• Undertaking street cleaning

• Carrying out routine cleaning and litter collection in such areas as amenities, footpaths, roads, shopping centres, pits and car parks

• Operate minor plant including high pressure hoses and blowers

• Carrying out inspections of facilities and reporting on maintenance and equipment issues.

• Rubbish removal

• Adhoc street cleansing duties: sweeping, general clean up

Essential requirements:

• HR Licence essential 

• Experience driving a compactor.

• White Card essential

• Steel toe cap boots essential

• High visibility shirt or vest essential

• Experience within open space teams an advantage

• Ability to work without supervision

• Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
