MR Driver | Installer

• To $70K + super + paid overtime + uniform + use of truck and van during work hours + parking

This is a rare opportunity to join a well established award winning supplier of commercial furniture that continues to expand.  The role offers lots of variety as you will be travelling around Sydney to suppliers for the collection of products and to a range of customer sites for installations.

Duties will include:

• Carry out weekly local supplier collection and deliveries in either MR Truck, or smaller Pantech (3-tonne) Truck
• Cross check work orders with physical goods.
• Achieve ‘Zero’ product damage during the delivery/collection process
• Report any damages, defects, or missing goods to the Distribution Manager.
• Installation and assembly of office furniture within commercial, educational, hospitality and residential spaces
• Ensuring items have been installed correctly and safely
• Delivery of products to customer sites
• Providing customers with product information and any training required on installed product
• Assisting with picking & packing of items from the warehouse

Essential requirements of the role:

• Current MR and Driver Licence 
• Previous experience in installation | assembly of products (preferred) or similar such as carpentry, trade assistant, joinery, production or fits outs etc.
• Ability to read basic plans and confident with the use of power tools
• Current White Card 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with customers
