Join us at this highly practical, 2-hour workshop which will provide an insight into how modern awards work and the adjustments employers need to make – particularly in payroll systems and employment contracts – including transitional arrangements for pay-related award terms. 

Workshop Content
Stephen Booth, our presenter and highly experienced employment lawyer will cover:
* Which modern awards apply and how do they interact?
* Which employees are award-free and what are the implications of that status?
* Relating the modern awards to your workplace and reviewing changed content
* What changes are necessary to payroll and other practices in your workplace?
* How do the transitional arrangements for pay rates, casual loadings and other penalties and allowances work?
